The Mayor of London has introduced a ground-breaking junk food ad ban across the TFL network which comes into force on 25 February 2019. Meanwhile, many local authorities are tackling advertisements for unhealthy food and drinks in their own councils.
We heard from members of the Mayor of London’s team to talk through how they brought their policy into place. We also had an overview from Food Active and Sustain on their joint report on local action on junk food advertising across the UK.
