We are a collaborative network that brings together public agencies, businesses, community organisations and individuals to address key issues in the local food system. By fostering cooperation across all parts of the food system we aim to support strategic plans and actions that drive long lasting change in how food is grown, transported, sold, bought, prepared, cooked, eaten and thrown away. The partnership has developed form a Food Summit in February 2023 to assess the interest and support for a food partnership to the launch of an independantly governed partnership, in October 2024.
Earth Day Eco Festival April 2025 was the patnership's first event to promote the partnership and test resources.
Webinars | Wakefield District Good Food Partnership - we are developing a webinar series to cover farm to fork to bin. Our first webinar in May 2025 was 'Food Waste - getting it right together'
