Wakefield District Good Food Partnership (WDGFP)

WDGFP is a collaborative network that brings together public agencies, businesses, community organisations and individuals to address key issues in the local food system. By fostering cooperation across all parts of the food system we aim to support strategic plans and actions that drive long lasting change in how food is grown, transported, sold, bought, prepared, cooked, eaten and thrown away. The partnership has developed form a Food Summit in February 2023, to assess the interest and support for a food partnership, to the launch of an independantly governed partnership, in October 2024.
