Stockport Food Partnership

The Stockport Food Partnership has been in development since 2022, we have hosted numerous workshops with people from all over our food system to develop our structure and priorities.

We have a steering group who help with core decisions and the structural decisions, we then have workshops for our actions.

We are currently applying for funds to employ a dedicated Food Partnership Coordinator but at the moment we are operating with limited capacity.

What we do

For 2024/25 we have 3 core priorities:

  • Reduce food poverty in Stockport
  • Improve community food education
  • Reduce food waste from businesses

We are also developing our Food Partnership and action plan.
