Food partnerships and the Climate Action Fund: a peer sharing session
A session for SFP members only. This session will focus on England.
The National Lottery Climate Action Fund for Food Systems represents one of the most significant funding opportunities for food systems work in recent years. With grants of between £2.5m and £7m available for large-scale, partnership-led projects, it's attracting interest across the sector and raising a lot of questions about who's doing what, and how.
This session is for SFP members who are exploring, developing, or simply curious about what the fund means for their work. We'll hear from a couple of organisations planning to lead bids, create space for honest peer conversation, and give you time to connect with others navigating the same landscape.
What we're most interested in is making sure that food partnerships - and the infrastructure, relationships and local knowledge they hold - are visible and valued and that thematic specialisms across food partnerships can be connected up in support of bids that shape the food system change we have been collectively working towards.
Who is it for? SFP member food partnerships and the organisations that coordinate SFP activity across England (separate conversations are occuring in Wales, Scotland and NI)
Format: One hour Zoom session, with breakout discussions and a shared Miro board for capturing hopes and intentions.
