Sustainable Food Partnerships - Taking a County Wide Approach

30/09/2020 11:00 12:15

Are you building a cross-sectoral food partnership across a county or rural area?

So far Sustainable Food Places has largely been a network of cities, but this is changing. We are now excited to reach out and welcome new geographies to our mix. We are commencing by launching a programme for counties with a webinar 11am – 12.15pm on Wednesday 30th September.

As a starting point and to shape our thinking on this we want to listen to and share the experiences of people working in 5 counties across England. Speakers represent a range of backgrounds and will inspire us with their differing approaches to county food partnerships.

  • Hannah Fenton (Sustain and Good Food Oxford) working in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire
  • Gavin Fletcher (Leicestershire County Council)
  • Hannah Murray-Leslie (Durham Community Action)
  • Tamsyn Harrod-Beck (BoomCircle) working in Gloucestershire

This webinar is only the beginning of our journey beyond the city. Further webinars and interactive online workshops will follow to explore the differences, challenges, and support needs of counties in more depth. Please join us on our journey!

Places on this webinar are open to anyone and will be of interest to those who have not yet joined the Sustainable Food Places Network.

Places are limited so please reserve your space here.

Not able to make it but want to get involved? Please email to join the mailing list for future events.

We look forward to welcoming you.
