Community food infrastructure and the crisis and resilience fund: creative routes to lasting change

This webinar responds to SFP members' lively discussion around the most effective ways to utilise the Crisis & Resilience Fund (CRF) in England - and other crisis support funds in the wider UK context - to drive longer-term solutions to household food insecurity and explore creative routes to lasting change. The session will be tailored to food partnerships navigating and supporting implementation of the CRF.

We will be joined by Victoria Williams from Food Matters and Stef Lake from the Alliance for Dignified Food Support who will outline a joint training offer as well as Sabine Goodwin from the Independent Food Aid Network and Isabel Rice from Sustain who will represent the Crisis and Resilience Fund Alliance (made up of third sector organisations, the DWP CRF Team, and the Local Government Association).

Food partnerships will join to share learnings and frame challenges.

The webinar is aimed at SFP food partnership members to:

• • Give an overview of the CRF and what this means for food partnerships
  • Offer a taster of the ADFS / Food Matters four training modules (as summarised here) and the supporting framework
  • Learn about the CRF Alliance and the resources and support available through this forum
  • Share examples of practice and alliances developing to support work in this area
  • Surface and explore tensions and challenges in implementing the CRF guidance
